There are drains in and out of your home. Drains provide the way for your home's water to flow. When drains get clogged, water can back up and cause problems. Water damage can increase the cost of a clogged drain, so always try to fix a drain before it gets to the point of being completely blocked.

Drain Cleaning

Everyone has experienced the annoying slow or clogged drain. Hair, food, grease and other material can cause a drain to get stopped up to the point where water will no longer flow or slows to a trickle. A drain line cleaning can usually fix the problem easily. Drain cleaning has also been called, rodding, rooter lines, snaking a drain and many other terms. The important thing is that the drain is cleaned out correctly with the right equipment to to the job right. Hydro or water jetter equipment can be used in some cases to clear out a drain. High pressure water is used to clean out the drain line. Drain Field Problems

Some homes may have a septic system and need a drain field. Some leaching fields are also still in use and require proper inspection and maintenance. Septic Tank installations, septic cleaning and septic pumping are best handled by a septic contractor, but a plumber may be needed to handle the connection from the septic system into the home. Malibu and other areas of California still have septic systems and while some towns are switching to city sewer. others will have septic systems for many years to come because of the rural areas access to city sewer lines.
